Week 4 Classes

The first card we did last week was using the Stampin' Pastels which I have to admit, I haven't used for a long time but can't work out why as they are so much fun.  This card had a few steps to it.  Firstly we used the En Francais background and versamark ink.  We then stamped the small flower from Flower Fancy over the top of this and sponged to give it some depth.
The main image is using Flower Fancy with Versamark and Rose Red Stampin Pastels and Old Olive for the leaves.  This is mounted on Old Olive cardstock.  We did some dressing up on the inside also but sorry, no photo of that.

The second card used the magnificent Medallion stamp.  We stamped it on Ballet Blue cardstock with Versamark and then embossed with White embossing powder.  We embossed the centre of the stamp twice again on scrap Ballet Blue and punched these out with the 3/4" and 1 1/4"  circle punches.  We also punched out a 1" and 1 3/8" circle from Ballet Blue and layered all of these.  A little clear Rhinestone Brad and some Brocade Blue grosgrain ribbon and it was done!  Simple but effective.
