OOOPs I forgot a Stamp Fairy Gift

I forgot to add a gift in.  I was given this wonderful book which is one of my favourite stories and I can't wait to read it again.

The Stamp Fairy brought some friends!!!!

This year we had not one, not two but three Stamp Fairies!!!!  I was very spoilt and kept coming back to my desk and finding that I had been "Fairied"!!!!  Is that a word????  Oh well it is now!

I was SO spoilt and blown away by these wonderful gifts.  I was supposed to come home with empty boxes but I came home with this huge stack of marvellous creations.  Thanks very very much Stamp Fairies!!!!

This is an amazing "High Tea" set with its own mini milk, sugar and oreo biscuits and even the tray was hand made - spoilt or what???

What a great booty of gifts these are.  The candle has a photo from last years camp of my minions (they know who they are) and me which is a great memento.

Some gorgeous little boxes that all had lovely treats in them.

What a booty I collected.  I kept leaving my desk just so I could come back and be surprised and I can't believe how sneaky the other fairies were.

But wait theres more.................................

Just in case there wasn't enough to keep everyone busy with the scheduled classes, there were some "Shoe Box" projects to keep you busy.  Along with these there were also 2 competitions to enter but sadly the evasive Stamp Fairy was a little shy and didn't show up to take photos of these but there were some very gorgeous, clever and creative entries!  So much talent in one room!!!!

Just loving the new Fries Box Big Shot Die and these would be great for Christmas Day table favours.

A baby card, Christmas card and little chocolate bar cover

Stamp Camp Fairy Gifts

Every year at Stamp Camp, there seems to be a little Stamp Fairy that visits regularly over the weekend whenever we aren't looking.  I have tried to catch this little fairy as I would like to bring her home to hopefully put to use but she has been too evasive so far.

Take a look at the goodies she left everyone over the weekend!

There was a shower scrubber to help everyone scrub up after a weekend packed with crafting, a note book, some bling as everyone needs a little bling, chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate as when can you ever have too much and a little blackboard for a name tag.

Stamp Camp 2014

Last weekend I had the pleasure of spending a whole weekend away with 26 wonderfully creative ladies at Kurrajong at the 3rd Addicted Stampers Stamp Camp.  We started on Friday night and crafted away the whole weekend!  Even though I didn't get any of my UFO's that I took along finished, or even touched for that matter, I had so much fun.  If you didn't come along this year, there is always next year.

I have to apologise for the picture quality but I had to make do with an old camera and poor photography skills.  Now you can see why I'm not a photographer.

Take a look at what we did over the weekend.

This wine bottle cover comes with some chocolates also in the little box on the front.  A great little gift to give when going to a dinner party.  Sorry the champagne wasn't part of it!

A little black handbag with 4 matching cards.

A little Christmas Clutch bag to use as a gift bag.

A little box with 12 Christmas gift tags.  A great gift or a cute box to sit on your desk ready to go for all your Christmas gifts.

A special card for that special person.  Definitely not a mass production card but can be adapted for any occasion.

A set of little gift boxes within a box.  A great gift or just to have ready for those special little gifts.

Sorry for this really bad photo.  My daughter has the good camera at the snow. A decorated CD case with 4 matching cards.

A little box made from the Envelope Liner Die with 4 matching gift tags
.

Hope you can join us next year!

Retiring In Colours

No the Retiring List hasn't been released yet but it isn't that far off,  I know every year that people are disappointed that the In Colour products retire and they miss out!  If there are any colours in the 2012-2014 range that you love, make sure that you get in early (now would be great) and order your ink refills, ribbons, markers, etc before the list is released and the frenzy begins.

All of the Designer Series Paper Packs will retire also so if you want to stock up on any of those, it pays to get in early.

I will post the full Retiring List as soon as it is available in June but from past experience these products go in days and sometimes hours,

Take Care!

Mini Treat Holder

So many of you joined me to create this quick and easy Mini Treat Holder and I promised that I would post the measurements so that you can easily recreate it for your own occassions.

Card Stock 8 ¼  x 2 inches
Designer Series Paper  1 ½ x 6 inches
Score Card stock strip at 3 ¾ inches from each end.  Punch each end using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.

Score the DSP at 5, 7, 12 and 14 centimetres
Put tape on the small end of the DSP and stick together to make a band.  Put some tape on the front and back of the card stock strip about an inch up from each score line.  Hold the card stock in place and slip the DSP band over base and stick in place.

I used Tangarine Tango cardstock.  The DSP is from the Venetian Romance Pack.  The stamps and flower punch are from the Petitie Petals Bundle.

I would love to see photo's of your adaptation of this so please feel free to email me a photo

Updating My Blog

I have been looking over my Blog and it is getting a little tired looking, a bit like it's Author at the moment.  I have updated some of the postings but will have to give this poor neglected part of my ramblings some much needed love and attention.

As I mentioned earlier, I have a stand at the Penrith Paper Crafts Festival from April 4th - 6th so that has consumed me for the past 2 weeks so hopefully once that is over my poor old Blog can feel loved again.

If there is anything you would like to see or hear about, let me know and I will try and include it on the site.

Hope you can visit me at Stand 28 at the Show!!!

Penrith Paper Crafts Festival

I am so excited - it is only 5 days until the Penrith Paper Crafts Festival. The show starts on Friday 4th until Sunday the 6th, April between 10am and 4.30pm.  It is at the Exhibition Centre next to Penrith Panthers on Mulgoa Road, Penrith.

Hopefully you can come along, enjoy a day out checking out all the latest trends.  Make sure that you come and visit me on Stand 28 and take part in a Make & Take.

I have been busy putting together some new display items for you, including some scrapbooking layouts!  For those of you who know me that is quite a shock as I can't remember the last time I did a full size scrapbooking page.  It was a challenge that I found daunting but enjoyable.

Hope to see you out there!!!!

Spiral Flower Die

I just love the new Spiral Flower Die.  It makes the most beautiful roses that wrapped tightly look like a rose bud and loosened make a lovely rose or double it up and you have a beautiful huge rose.
The second card uses the Banner Blast set from the Sale-A-Bration Freebies and was designed for the males in our lives. The third card put us back in touch with our feminine side with some bling.
As with my earlier posts, I am happy to let you know more detail on any of the projects but now that I have caught up with my postings I will be able to include more info in my posts.

Thanks for dropping by!

Mr & Mrs

Wedding cards are another occasion I never seem to have ready to go so at least I now have one.  This one uses Shimmer White and Silver cardstock, the Mr & Mrs and Flowering Flourishes stamps.
The second card also used the Flowering Flourishes stamps and was kept very simple in Shimmer White and black.  A bit of bling makes it look really classy and with different words would make a great anniversary or engagement card.
The third card was a bit of bright and cheery colour using Calypso Coral and Summer Starfruit.

Tag Top Punch Card

Male cards always seem difficult to do - or for me anyway, so the first two cards were designed for males.  The first card uses products from the "Celebrate Everyday" mini catalogue that has heaps of goodies in it.  The second card isn't the actual card that we made in class but the same techniques were used for this one.  I actually gave away my sample before I had taken a photo!  We embossed the Coaster Board, which I had never used before, but love and then brayered the ink over it.
The third card uses the new Scalloped Tag Topper punch to create a closure with a difference.  It is so easy to do but looks great and the Watercolour Wonder DSP from the mini catalogue are just gorgeous.

Card In A Box

The first project has been called a card in a box.  It actually collapses and will fit into a standard sized envelope and creates a bit of WOW.  We used the gorgeous Venetian Romance papers.  The second card uses the Positively Chevron background stamp sponged in 3 shades of blues.  The third card makes a great wedding or engagement card using Hello, Doily and Shimmer White card stock.  If you would like any further details, please let me know.

A Crumb Cake Overload

This was our first class back for the year and as you can see, I was in a Crumb Cake kind of mood.  We made a little desk calendar, a birthday card and the clear pillow box was for Valentines chocolates.  The pillow boxes are from K Mart as sadly our pillow box die has retired.  The patterned paper is from the SAB Sweet Sorbet collection.
If you would like any information on any of the products used, please email me.

More Neglected Than I Thought

I am so shocked to learn that I haven't posted since August last year!!!!!!  Everything got to be too difficult last year so certain things got pushed aside and my poor old blog site was one of the casualties.  I haven't even looked at it so was extremely shocked to see how long it had been today.
I am going to try and make an effort to update each weeks class photo's even if I don't put a full description of what I have used or how it was done and if you want any further details, please don't hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to provide more info.

I also love to hear your comments but I have had to turn on comment approval due to spammers leaving all sorts of weird comments.  So please feel free to leave any feedback.

If anyone is still out there subscribed to my updates, there are a few coming!
