I am so excited - it is only 5 days until the Penrith Paper Crafts Festival. The show starts on Friday 4th until Sunday the 6th, April between 10am and 4.30pm. It is at the Exhibition Centre next to Penrith Panthers on Mulgoa Road, Penrith.
Hopefully you can come along, enjoy a day out checking out all the latest trends. Make sure that you come and visit me on Stand 28 and take part in a Make & Take.
I have been busy putting together some new display items for you, including some scrapbooking layouts! For those of you who know me that is quite a shock as I can't remember the last time I did a full size scrapbooking page. It was a challenge that I found daunting but enjoyable.
Hope to see you out there!!!!

Spiral Flower Die
I just love the new Spiral Flower Die. It makes the most beautiful roses that wrapped tightly look like a rose bud and loosened make a lovely rose or double it up and you have a beautiful huge rose.
The second card uses the Banner Blast set from the Sale-A-Bration Freebies and was designed for the males in our lives. The third card put us back in touch with our feminine side with some bling.
As with my earlier posts, I am happy to let you know more detail on any of the projects but now that I have caught up with my postings I will be able to include more info in my posts.
Thanks for dropping by!
Mr & Mrs
Wedding cards are another occasion I never seem to have ready to go so at least I now have one. This one uses Shimmer White and Silver cardstock, the Mr & Mrs and Flowering Flourishes stamps.
The second card also used the Flowering Flourishes stamps and was kept very simple in Shimmer White and black. A bit of bling makes it look really classy and with different words would make a great anniversary or engagement card.
The third card was a bit of bright and cheery colour using Calypso Coral and Summer Starfruit.
Tag Top Punch Card
Male cards always seem difficult to do - or for me anyway, so the first two cards were designed for males. The first card uses products from the "Celebrate Everyday" mini catalogue that has heaps of goodies in it. The second card isn't the actual card that we made in class but the same techniques were used for this one. I actually gave away my sample before I had taken a photo! We embossed the Coaster Board, which I had never used before, but love and then brayered the ink over it.
The third card uses the new Scalloped Tag Topper punch to create a closure with a difference. It is so easy to do but looks great and the Watercolour Wonder DSP from the mini catalogue are just gorgeous.
Card In A Box
The first project has been called a card in a box. It actually collapses and will fit into a standard sized envelope and creates a bit of WOW. We used the gorgeous Venetian Romance papers. The second card uses the Positively Chevron background stamp sponged in 3 shades of blues. The third card makes a great wedding or engagement card using Hello, Doily and Shimmer White card stock. If you would like any further details, please let me know.
A Crumb Cake Overload
This was our first class back for the year and as you can see, I was in a Crumb Cake kind of mood. We made a little desk calendar, a birthday card and the clear pillow box was for Valentines chocolates. The pillow boxes are from K Mart as sadly our pillow box die has retired. The patterned paper is from the SAB Sweet Sorbet collection.
If you would like any information on any of the products used, please email me.
More Neglected Than I Thought
I am so shocked to learn that I haven't posted since August last year!!!!!! Everything got to be too difficult last year so certain things got pushed aside and my poor old blog site was one of the casualties. I haven't even looked at it so was extremely shocked to see how long it had been today.
I am going to try and make an effort to update each weeks class photo's even if I don't put a full description of what I have used or how it was done and if you want any further details, please don't hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to provide more info.
I also love to hear your comments but I have had to turn on comment approval due to spammers leaving all sorts of weird comments. So please feel free to leave any feedback.
If anyone is still out there subscribed to my updates, there are a few coming!

Stamp Camp "Stamp Fairy" Gifts
One more post for the night and then it is off to bed for me!
The "Stamp Fairy" likes to visit everyone at Stamp Camp regularly when they aren't looking and reward them with a little token of appreciation for coming along. I think the Stamp Fairy must have a bit of a sweet tooth as a lot of goodies involved some form of chocolate -- which is always welcome isn't it??????
The booty included:
a covered tissue box on the bed as a Welcome
A little "Dress" box with a chocolate
A name card holder with you guessed it a covered chocolate bar
A monogrammed note pad
Some chocolate chip cookies
A cup and coaster
A wooden spoon set in chocolate to make a hot chocolate with ( I know more...)
A nail file
A cute little bag of M&M's (well at least it was only a little bag!)
Now if only I could find a "Cleaning Fairy" life would be sweet!

Up to Date
Well that wasn't too difficult - I am now up to date! I am actually sitting down with my hubby and my lovely little niece and nephew and this is the difficult part - watching the Friday night football. Get out the thermometer, I must be sick. There has to be better things to do with a Friday night!
Anyway here are this weeks cards we made.
Anyway here are this weeks cards we made.
This was a quick simple Fathers Day or Birthday card using the Six Sided Sampler set mixed with Gorgeous Grunge that is going to be very popular I am sure. I was devastated when French Foliage went but Gorgeous Grunge is a pretty good substitute. We used the co-ordinating Hexagon punch - just love it when there is a matching punch. The words are from Teeny Tiny Sentiments. The colours are Basic Black, Whisper White with a splash of Island Indigo.
I finally got around to experiment with colouring the Crepe Filter Paper! The flower petals were cut from the Floral Frames Dies and coloured with Rasberry Ripple and Primrose Petal. We stappled the layers together, scrunched them to make them look like a flower and added a large pearl. The leaves are the large Oval Punch trimmed on one end to make a point and coloured with Old Olive.
The card is Shimmer White and the script is from the gorgeous Background Builders stamp set. When I first saw this set in the Catalogue I thought they were the builder wheels and was sooooo pleased when I realised it was a stamp set as they are so much easier to use. I think this set will be another one of my new favourites.
There were a few steps to this card. We used the script stamp from Background builders and then the splotches from Gorgeous Grunge to create the background in Crumb Cake, Primrose Petal and Pear Pizzaz.
We ran a strip of Primrose Petals CoreDinations cardstock through the Honeycomb Embossing folder and then given a light sand. The new Deco Labels Collection labels are in Pear Pizzaz and Very Vanilla. The My Friend words are from Six Sided Sampler and the flowers are made with the 7/8 inch scallop circle punch and the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Bunch. The leaves are from the Bird Builder punch and with a bit of bling added here and there I think it makes a lovely girly card.
Stationery Kit
We made this gorgeous Stationery Kit just after Stamp Camp. It holds 4 cards and matching envelopes and is another great little gift for those difficult to buy for people. Who doesn't need a lovely card for a special occasion.
The papers are from the Quarterfancy Specialty DSP pack. The stamps are from the new Mosaic Madness set and we used various word stamps to fit different occasions. The flower on the front is the Scalloped Circle punch layered with a brad from the Antique Brads.
