A Weekend of Fun

The time has come for me to start putting the wheels in motion for this years Stamp Camp once again.  We will be returning to Lutanda, Yarrumundi again this year.  So mark your diaries for the weekend of the 24th - 26th  August and come along and join me for a relaxing crafty weekend.


Friday 24th August  (Check in time - 5.00pm) through to 2pm Sunday afternoon
Shared Room - $300 (ensuited rooms)
There are a few single rooms available - $330
All meals from supper Friday night to Lunch on Sunday included

The best thing is that you don't need to pack your craft room to come along because lets face it, its hard to decide what not to bring.  All you really need to pack is your basic tools and adhesives.  Well maybe that's not the best thing because a weekend away, no chores, no cooking and non stop crafting is the best thing.  

 

There are a limited number of single rooms available and I will do my best to accomodate you all.  I will be able to fully allocate single rooms once I have an idea of how many will be attending.  The rooms accomodate 4 people and I try to keep it to 2 per room.  If you are happy to have more than 2 in a room, please let me know, remembering that it is a bunk bed setup so 2 will have to be on top.

If you haven't been before and worried you won't know anyone, why not come along to a class or two beforehand and meet some new friends.

Spaces are limited so please don't hesitate to secure your spot with a $50 deposit asap and final payment due by June 30th.  Please contact me for my bank account details.  Please ensure that when you make your deposits that you use a reference that is easily tracked back to you as I had a few payments last year that were a bit tricky to find out who had made them.

It's Finally Here!

 

 

The new 2015-2016 Catalogue is finally here!  I have placed my first order and although I had every intention of showing restraint, some things just kept jumping onto my list and it grew and grew and grew.  I can't wait for it to arrive now so I can start playing with all my new goodies.

Retirement List

Well it is that time of the year again already!  The Retirement List was released today so it is time to say goodbye to some of my favourites.  The good news is that this means there are only 6 weeks until our new Catalogue is released!

 So, get yourself comfy with a cuppa and a marker and check out what is disappearing. Many items are heavily discounted and all are only available while stocks last. Pistachio Pudding ink refill has sold out already!

 The best way to make sure you don't miss out is to place your order in my Online Store. Of course you can still ring or email me to place an order. If you do go to my online store, please leave your details so that I can at least thank you personally and also check that everything has gone ok with your order once it has been shipped.

More Term 1 Classes

 

The Lotus Blossom set was my very first "must have" from the Sale-A-Bration promotion.  It is so pretty and looks great in heaps of colours.  This card was done with Strawberry Slush and Crumb Cake.  It is such a shame this is in the SAB promo as that means it will disappear forever at the end of March.

 

Yet another 'male' card for the stash.  This card used the Balloon Framelits and Celebrate Today bundle.  The Star background was created using the Hearts & Stars Decorative Masks.

Term 1 Class Projects

We made this cute little Mini Treat Bag as a Valentines Gift for our lovely hubbies.  It did until just a minute ago have a chocolate in it but I couldn't resist.  The Mini Treat Bag is a die in the Occasions Catalogue that can be used for so many different occasions.  With some Typeset DSP and Cherry Cobbler Glimmer Paper and a hint of love with the Happy Heart Embossing Folder to finish off, I hope all the hubbies enjoyed their little treats - that is if they weren't eaten on the way home??

 

One of my favourite goodies in the Occasions Catalogue is the Butterflies Thinlits Dies.  I do hope these go through to the next Catalogue. This card incorporates the Butterfly Basics stamps that co-ordinate with the dies and a little Gorgeous Grunge.  The butterflies are cut from Pink Pirouette and Vellum.  We added an Antique Brad and some twine and a very quick but pretty card.

 

 

I am not sure what this technique is called but it looks a little like the good old fashioned tie dying.  We used Watercolour paper and Ink Refills.  The Mosaic Madness images have been done with White Embossing Powder and the sentiment is from Hey You stamp set.   I love how the colours have blended and the best part of this technique is that you get a different look every time.

Classes Term 1

Sadly we all need a Sympathy card every now and again and they aren't something you want to

have to make when you actually need it.  To create this effect we used the Window Frame dies to cut a window from a template the same size as the card front.  The image is from the World of Dreams stamp set and the words are from A Dozen Thoughts.  Basic Black, Crumb Cake and Shimmer White inks and cardstock.

 

 

We have done a few "male" orientated cards so far this term as I don't know about you but I have a shortage in my stash. This was a very quick and easy card using Balloon Bash from the Occasions Catalogue with Cherry Cobbler and Night of Navy.

 

 

This pretty little Note Card Holder was created using one of the Gift Card Enclosures.  We added some Tea Lace Doilies some White Jute Ribbon and a vellum rose using the Spiral Flower Die.

 

Term 1 Class Projects

Well my poor neglected blog is finally getting some attention.  I wish I could clone myself and have an assistant to pick up the slack of things that I just don't get to do.  Oh well, back to reality.

I have several posts coming up with the projects we have done this term. So here we go.

 

This card uses the Big Day Stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration freebies promotion that ends at the end of March!  The colours are Soft Suede and Lost Lagoon.

 

 

The Sheltering Tree stamp set from the Occasions Catalogue has been very popular.  It is so versatile and looks great is heaps of different colour combo's.  This version was tailored towards the males in our lives.

 

The colours have changed a little in this photo.  I used Gorgeous Grunge and Six Sided Sampler along with the Itty Bitty Accents and Hexagon punches.  The colours are Crumb cake , Bermuda Bay and Soft Sky.  A bit of bling and done.

Merry Christmas Everyone

I would like to thank everyone that has checked into my very neglected Blog site this year for taking time out to visit my site.  I have had a wonderful year sharing my love of crafting with you all and look forward to another year together.

May you all have a very Merry Christmas and a safe and healthy New Year.  Hopefully you get to spend time with family and friends and can relax and enjoy the festive season.

OOOPs I forgot a Stamp Fairy Gift

I forgot to add a gift in.  I was given this wonderful book which is one of my favourite stories and I can't wait to read it again.

The Stamp Fairy brought some friends!!!!

This year we had not one, not two but three Stamp Fairies!!!!  I was very spoilt and kept coming back to my desk and finding that I had been "Fairied"!!!!  Is that a word????  Oh well it is now!

I was SO spoilt and blown away by these wonderful gifts.  I was supposed to come home with empty boxes but I came home with this huge stack of marvellous creations.  Thanks very very much Stamp Fairies!!!!

 

This is an amazing "High Tea" set with its own mini milk, sugar and oreo biscuits and even the tray was hand made - spoilt or what???

 

What a great booty of gifts these are.  The candle has a photo from last years camp of my minions (they know who they are) and me which is a great memento.

 

Some gorgeous little boxes that all had lovely treats in them.

 

What a booty I collected.  I kept leaving my desk just so I could come back and be surprised and I can't believe how sneaky the other fairies were.

But wait theres more.................................

Just in case there wasn't enough to keep everyone busy with the scheduled classes, there were some "Shoe Box" projects to keep you busy.  Along with these there were also 2 competitions to enter but sadly the evasive Stamp Fairy was a little shy and didn't show up to take photos of these but there were some very gorgeous, clever and creative entries!  So much talent in one room!!!!

Just loving the new Fries Box Big Shot Die and these would be great for Christmas Day table favours.

Stamp Camp Fairy Gifts

Every year at Stamp Camp, there seems to be a little Stamp Fairy that visits regularly over the weekend whenever we aren't looking.  I have tried to catch this little fairy as I would like to bring her home to hopefully put to use but she has been too evasive so far.

Take a look at the goodies she left everyone over the weekend!

There was a shower scrubber to help everyone scrub up after a weekend packed with crafting, a note book, some bling as everyone needs a little bling, chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate as when can you ever have too much and a little blackboard for a name tag.

Stamp Camp 2014

Last weekend I had the pleasure of spending a whole weekend away with 26 wonderfully creative ladies at Kurrajong at the 3rd Addicted Stampers Stamp Camp.  We started on Friday night and crafted away the whole weekend!  Even though I didn't get any of my UFO's that I took along finished, or even touched for that matter, I had so much fun.  If you didn't come along this year, there is always next year.

I have to apologise for the picture quality but I had to make do with an old camera and poor photography skills.  Now you can see why I'm not a photographer.

Class Project Updates

 

I am frantically ticking off things on my to do list before my husband and I take off for our European holiday later today!  We are going to France, Italy, Greece and Turkey and will be away for a month!!  So excited and I just can't wait to get on the plane but I wanted to very quickly update you with some photos of recent class projects.  I won't put any details in but you can always contact me for ingredients if you need them and I will get back to you when I come home.

Retiring In Colours

No the Retiring List hasn't been released yet but it isn't that far off,  I know every year that people are disappointed that the In Colour products retire and they miss out!  If there are any colours in the 2012-2014 range that you love, make sure that you get in early (now would be great) and order your ink refills, ribbons, markers, etc before the list is released and the frenzy begins.

All of the Designer Series Paper Packs will retire also so if you want to stock up on any of those, it pays to get in early. 

I will post the full Retiring List as soon as it is available in June but from past experience these products go in days and sometimes hours,
