Antiqued Burgandy
They say that as you mature your taste buds change along with your choices of music, clothes and it would appear colours. This is the first time that I have used Bravo Burgandy since I started doing Stampin' Up! 4 1/2 years ago! My ink pad was difficult to open because it had never been used! How does that happen - honestly though, I really didn't like the colour but wanted to challenge myself. Half way through the card I was actually converted, so you may see a bit more Bravo Burgandy in the future.

Calypso Coral Blossoms
We made this card this week so I am now up to date with my postings, YEAH!!!!! I know it doesn't happen very often. This is called a double Z fold card and is so easy to do and makes a nice change from a standard fold card. They are also great for using up left over pieces of patterned papers.

Label Collection Die
Now this card really didn't photgraph well as it looks so much prettier in real life. I took heaps of photos and just couldn't get a better shot so sorry for that.
We used the Labels Collections Dies to cut the card base to create a card with a difference.
Stamps: Fabulours Florets, Curly Cute

Gift Purse
These gorgeous little purses are great for a little gift to say thank you to someone. They will hold two little chocolates or a small gift and with a little matching gift card anyone would be thrilled to get one. The purse is very easy to make and this one was made with a piece of patterned paper 6 x 6 inches. The gift card is 2.5 x 2.5 inches.

There are so many goodies in the Winter Mini and this card incorporates 3 of them. I think I was on a bit of a baby blue theme but I just love the softness of the colours together.

Beau Chateau Floral
This is a card that we did a few weeks ago but I didn't get a good photo of it when I initially took them. The papers are out of the Beau Chateau DSP pack. I love all the blue patterned papers in this collection - they are so soft and feminine. I didn't take photos but the front panel with the flower lifts up and there is a birthday message underneath.

Happiness Shared - with Milie
This was a card we did last week. If you look carefully at the top left hand corner you can see that it was also one of my dog Millies favourites. This was actually one of the ladies cards that she had finished and put into her bag. Unfortunately, Millie who likes to take part in my classes thought it was dedicated to her and hepled herself to it. Of course I had to swap it over for my sample and rather than remake it and not have a story to tell, I kept the evidence. Lucky she is so cute!!!! There is a lot that doesn't show up in this photo. We stamped on Glossy White cardstock and embossed the flower images with white embossing powder.

Lovely As A Tree Duo
It has been a while since I posted so I am going to try and catch up on the past few weeks of class projects, they just won't be in order. A great staple stamp set for male cards is Lovely As A Tree and these two cards were designed to be kept simple.
This first one used:
Card Stock: Confetti White, Old Olive, Early Esspresso
Ink: Old Olive, Early Esspresso
Stamps: Lovely As A Tree, Curly Cute
Accessories: Mini Library Clips, Dimensionals
This one didn't photograph as well as I thought when I was editing my photos and I deleted all the others I took so sorry about that. It is difficult to see but there is some "blue sky" behind the tree that was done using a clear block as the stamp. We simply inked up the surface of the block and stamped it onto the cardstock. This technique makes a great subtle background for any image.
Cardstock: Old Olive, Confetti White, Early Esspresso
Ink: Old Olive, Early Esspresso and Bashful Blue
Stamps: Lovely As A Tree
